π Ingredients:
- π₯ Raw cashews – 100 gm
- π§ Water – for soaking & blending
- π§ Seasonings of your choice – salt, pepper, chilli flakes, garlic, herbs
π₯£ Method:
- Soak the cashews in water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Discard the soaking water. Blend the cashews coarsely with a little fresh water.
- Transfer to a clean glass bowl and loosely cover (do not seal).
- Leave the mixture at room temperature for 8–12 hours to naturally ferment.
- π§ You’ll know it’s fermented when it gives off a slightly sour, cheesy aroma.
- Once fermented, add seasonings (spices, herbs, lemon juice, garlic).
- Mix well and store in the fridge. Ready to enjoy!
✅ Tips:
- π️ In colder climates, fermentation may take longer — be patient.
- π§ Add roasted garlic, herbs, or lemon zest for more flavor.
- π Use as a spread on toast, in wraps, or on salads.
- ❄️ Store in fridge and use within 3–5 days for best results.
