π§ Nut Cheese πΏ Dairy-Free, Fermented Cashew Cheese By Padma Kathi | www.goodlive.in π Ingredients: π₯ Raw cashews – 100 gm π§ Water – for soaking & blending π§ Seasonings of your choice – salt, pepper, chilli flakes, garlic, herbs π₯£ Method: Soak the cashews in water for at least 6 hours or overnight . Discard the soaking water. Blend the cashews coarsely with a little fresh water. Transfer to a clean glass bowl and loosely cover (do not seal). Leave the mixture at room temperature for 8–12 hours to naturally ferment. π§ You’ll know it’s fermented when it gives off a slightly sour, cheesy aroma . Once fermented, add seasonings (spices, herbs, lemon juice, garlic). Mix well and store in the fridge .
