Introduction

Cinnamon and fennel tea is a simple yet powerful herbal drink that supports digestion, detoxification, and healthy weight management. This traditional combination helps reduce bloating, improve metabolism, and gently support fat loss when consumed regularly.

Cinnamon supports blood sugar balance and metabolic activity, while fennel seeds improve digestion and reduce water retention. Together, they form an effective detox drink that is easy to prepare and suitable for daily use, especially during colder seasons.

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon stick (Dalchini) – 2 to 3 pieces (about 1 inch each)
  • Fennel seeds (Saunf) – 2 to 3 teaspoons
  • Tulsi or mint leaves – few (optional)
  • Lemon juice – to taste (optional)
  • Water – 2 cups

Method

  1. Soak cinnamon sticks and fennel seeds in 2 cups of water overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  2. In the morning, boil the soaked mixture for 5 minutes.
  3. Switch off the flame and strain the tea.
  4. Serve hot.
  5. Add tulsi or mint while boiling and a few drops of lemon juice before serving, if desired.
